Go Ravens!

Went to the Ravens vs. Dolphins game at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore yesterday. It was an excellent day and win for the home team 26-10. The Ravens looked really good and they should be a tough out in the playoffs this year.

Upset

The Canadiens do it again. It wasn't even as close as the score. They just might be good enough to win the whole thing. Halak sure is.

Now we are 5% through the MLB season. The Orioles have one victory and eight losses. I'm going to look at this in the best possible light - at least now I don't feel like I need to pay attention to this team. Plus, it's lacrosse season. So, I've got stuff to keep me occupied.

This story about people wearing hockey jerseys in Liberia is interesting. I like that they say "a white man has died" when referring to this clothing - I'm sure that is pretty close to the truth for long suffering Leafs fans.

Final

That was a great NCAA final game last night. Duke seemed to have the upper hand for most of the night, but Butler battled back at every turn in the game. When it came down to the end and the ball was in Hayward's hands driving to the basket, I thought it was all over. That shot clanged out but was really close. Even the last second desperation heave at the end hit the rim. An exciting finish to a well played game.

I hope the NCAA lacrosse tourney features a great game like this one.
