1750

I went over 100 miles for the week on a cool and blustery fall day today. It was the first day this fall that I've felt cold while riding (my feet were pretty numb by the end). It was probably 50 degrees or so with a steady 15+ mph wind. Anyway, it was a nice 26 mile loop up to Explore Park via the Parkway and then back on Route 618 to the Greenway to the new bridge and back home on Franklin. My legs felt good, but I'm thinking I should have worn a bit more clothing.

1700

After two weeks of travel (one of those in Las Vegas - ugh), I managed to ride a bit over 60 miles since Saturday as of yesterday. It was slow, but it was good to be back. I'm feeling pretty good about the 2k goal if weather, health and travel obligations cooperate.

1600

I'm slightly over 80% now with the toughest bit to go. 400 miles between now and the end of the year. That is going to be tough. The ride today was a nice little lunch jaunt on the Huckleberry Trail and then around Blacksburg a bit. Flatter than my usual rides and the weather was perfect. Hopefully, more of that kind of riding to come.
